SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS AND PORTFOLIOS

At IMC Literary Agency, we are always open to discovering new voices and talents. If you would like us to consider your work, we will be pleased to receive your proposal following the guidelines detailed below.

IF YOU ARE AN AUTHOR

You may send your unpublished manuscript to submissions@iemece.com, indicating in the subject line: Unsolicited Manuscripts.

We are particularly interested in stories with a strong voice, memorable characters, and a clear narrative proposal. We pay special attention to:

Young Adult and New Adult

• Contemporary fiction
• Romance
• Thriller

Adult

• Historical fiction
• Thriller
• Women’s fiction

Non-fiction

• We welcome non-fiction proposals in their various formats and approaches.

If your work does not fit exactly within these categories but you believe it may be of interest to us, we still encourage you to submit it. We are looking for quality, authenticity, and projects with strong publishing potential. We accept submissions in both Catalan and Spanish.

You may send your portfolio to submissions@iemece.com, indicating in the subject line: Portfolio Submission.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In order to properly manage the volume of submissions we receive:

• We do not provide updates regarding the evaluation status of submitted works.
• In the event of rejection, we cannot commit to offering individual feedback or detailing the reasons.
• We do not respond to phone inquiries regarding submitted manuscripts or portfolios.
• If three months have passed since your submission and you have not received a response from us, it should be understood that we are not interested in representing the project at this time.
