Anna Gasol
Anna Gasol was born in Cervera, in the province of Lérida. As a little girl she used to enjoy listening to her grandmother's stories and reading adventure novels. She studied English, German Philology, Librarianship and Documentation at the University of Barcelona and worked as a teacher in Premià de Mar (Barcelona) before working at the childrens library of the Teachers Association Rosa Sensat, in Barcelona. She was director of Faristol magazine and president of CCLIJ, the Catalan section of OEPLI. She works with a number of publishing houses in the children's literature department and also writes articles for several Spanish publications and translates and writes stories for children. She is a member of the Foundation Cavall Fort.
