Zahara C. Ordóñez
Zahara C. Ordóñez (Jaén, 1983) is a writer by vocation. For her, writing is like breathing: essential for living. She’s been coming up with her own stories since she was a child, guided by the strong love of reading her mother instilled her with, and she wrote her first novel when she was eleven. What finally drove her first step into the literary world was a literary contest in the University of Malaga, where she was studying History: she won second place in the short stories category. From then on, her life has been writing. She has published almost thirty novels in various genres, such as historical romance, contemporary romance and fantasy; she has also participated in several anthologies, as a writer in some and a juror in others, and she has coordinated and prologued other writers. She is a proofreader as well, and she loves the nineteenth century, rainy days, music, authors and paintings of romanticism, and enjoys her inspiring walks by the sea.
