Baru Marui

Baru Marui (31st August, 1994, Hospitalet de Llobregat) studied a degree in Modern Languages and Literature at the University of Barcelona and specialised in Spanish as a Foreign Language in Professional Environments. Currently, she is working as a Secondary School teacher and a Spanish as a second Language tutor.

Since she was a child, writing has been one of her main forms of escape. When she was a teenager, she started to write assiduously thank to her Spanish Language and Literature teacher. Later on, during her stay in the university, she created a series of short love stories that combined some little doses of humour and published them anonymously on the faculty’s forum. The great acceptance made her to take her hobby to a more professional level.
