Eli Macías

Eli Macías (Cáceres, 1993) deleted her brother's Spyro game when she couldn't read yet and she still feels guilty to this day. She studied Audiovisual Media in Madrid and also Professional Makeup, because, in addition to being creative, she can't stay still. She got into the fandom world as a child and hasn't left yet. A staunch defender of fanfiction and geekdom in general. Eli works as an editor and dedicates the rest of her time to writing and making a name for herself.

She has published books of rural and urban fantasy, science fiction and contemporary romance. She dares to try any genre, but there are three themes that are recurrent in her books. The first is that her stories are set in Spain, its folklore and its culture. You will always see her talking about Españitacore. Second, LGBT+ representation and the discovery of one's own identity, regardless of age. Last but not least, the importance of mental health and the visibility of disorders that people have to live with on a daily basis.
