Maria de la Pau Janer
Maria de la Pau Janer was born in Palma de Mallorca. She holds a PhD in Philology and is a professor at the University of the Balearic Islands. She presents cultural programs on radio and television and is a regular contributor to the press.
Her work has been awarded some of the most important prized in Catalan and Spanish literature: the Carlemany Award and rhw Prudenci Bertrana Award for Natura d’anguila, rhw Serra d’Or Prize for La isla de Omar, the Ramon Llull Award for Lola and the Planeta Award for Pasiones romanas.
