Victoria Toro
Victoria Toro (Segovia, 1964) is a journalist of scientific information, scientist communicator and consultant for scientific communication. As a journalist, she has worked for most of the Spanish media (EL País, Diario 16, EL Mundo, RNE, QUO, Muy Interesante, Grupo Correo, Tiempo, among others) and also for international media. From 2008 to 2016 she was also a correspondent in New York. As a scientist communicator she has been the director of the expositions of the Science Museum of Valladolid.
As a journalist of scientific information as well as a scientist communicator, she has frequently dealt with the situation of women in science. One of her current professional responsibilities is the direction of the communication of the technologists and investigators women’s Association (AMIT).
