Marina Montenegro

Marina Montenegro Carreras is a children and young adult illustrator born in Girona in 1998. She can also be found by “la Montenegra”.

As if under a spell, from a very young age she was fascinated by the illustrations in the books, and decided early on what she would become when she grew up. She studied illustration in La Massana in Barcelona and next she specialized in the children sector with the course in EINA.

Since then, she had a few published children books and on occasion she is also the author of the text. Her illustrations tend to visit genre scenes and are always dressed up with friendly, funny and warm characters.
