Nuria Nistal

(Mataró, 1975). She learned to read at just three years old and still remembers how the worst punishment in her childhood was having the book taken away that she always carried in her hands. Not long after came the doodles, and with them, a graphic style full of personality.
She soon decided that fashion was her true calling and spent years developing her creativity by specializing in children’s fashion. But what she’s most passionate about in that world is textile graphics, which she later brought back to paper.
Today, Nuria devotes most of her time to illustration and writing. She is the author and illustrator of picture books and children's novels. Her first works will be published in 2026, though no details can be revealed yet… but she tells us she’s having a great time working on them.
