Vanessa Cocova

Vanessa Cocova is an Andalusian illustrator and she was born in Seville in 1996.

She spent most of her childhood in a little town surrounded by nature and animals. Since she was a very little girl she found a fascination for drawing. Influenced by architecture, fashion, animation and videogames, she studied at ESDIP art school and at Lightbox Academy in Madrid. Also she studied a degree of 3D Animation and Videogames in Seville, where she found her love for telling stories through her illustrations.

When she finished her studies, she tried self-publishing and then she worked as a freelancer in different co-educational projects. From the concept art for videogames to children's illustration, Vanessa works completely digitally.

When she's not drawing, she loves long walks in nature, watching horror movies, scrolling through picture books, summer nights and spending time with her two fur balls Lola and Lilith.
