Luisa Vera
She was born in 1962 in Elda, Spain.
In 1985, she graduated in Fine Arts in Valencia, packed up her pencils and took off to live in New York. She continued her illustration studies at the School of Visual Arts.
She's been working as a professional illustrator since 1990. Her characters have nosed their way into the pages of “The New York Times”, “The Chicago Tribune”, “The Dallas Morning News”, “The Wall Street Journal”, “The International Herald Tibune”, "La Vanguardia" and “El País”, and have dressed up for all kinds of occasions, such as book covers, posters, catalogues, children's books, and exhibitions.
She now lives in Barcelona, Spain.
