
Carles Arbat
He was born in Bescanó (Girona) in 1973. In 1997, he graduated with a degree in Applied Arts and Artistic Works, specialized in Graphic Design; in 2000, he won the competition for the Poster of the Children's and Young Adult's Book Fair; in 2002, the Premio Lazarillo for illustrators with "La Ciudad de los Ignorantes"; and, finally, in 2005, the "Premi Llibreter" in the illustrated album category.
He currently illustrates stories and novels and also for magazines. His treasures are small illustrations, fragments that he draws and shares with anyone who can dream and who doesn't think that illustrated books are only for children.
