Born in Súria, Coaner Codina works as a graphic designer and illustrator. She attended a Graphic Design Degree and Visual Communication in the ESDI Design School in Sabadell (2001). Later, she expanded her academic background with a Postgraduate Creative Illustration in Eina School in Barcelona (2006).
Her work career begins in Barcelona, working in Zeligstudio and also goes through cities such as Amsterdam and Buenos Aires, where she collaborates with several design teams. In 2008 she created her own studio specialized in art direction, branding and illustration. She has been awarded with several national and international awards such as Laus Awards, Anuaria Pro or Art Directors Club of Europe, individually and collectively.
Her work is characterized by a strong link between graphic design and illustration. This disciplinary symbiosis, among the most cartesian and most dreamlike, allows her to shape a wide range of projects with a unique look.
Graduated in Educational Sciences Degree at the University of Vic (2010), in recent years she has illustrated several textbooks, participated in creative projects such as ‘Una mà de contes’ and published three illustrated albums such as 'Batiscafo en el mar’, Batiscafo en las nubes' and ‘Sebastián y el mar’.
